Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) is a next-generation air transportation system that encompasses Urban Air Mobility (UAM) and Regional Air Mobility (RAM), and is driving the transformation of urban and inter-regional travel based on electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) aircraft and autonomous flight technologies.

In the modern world, where there is an urgent need to relieve burgeoning urban traffic congestion and enhance connectivity in areas with limited accessibility, AAM is gaining traction as an environmentally friendly and efficient alternative.

Key technologies include 450 Wh/kg high-energy density batteries, hydrogen fuel cells, and ultra-low-latency 5G and satellite-based communications networks, with a key challenge being the standardization of vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) infrastructure.

In this report, we examine the current and future state of AAM.
